Bought this for getting around town, and going on long lazy rides at the beach, or when i go camping. First time out did 18 miles, felt great! Everything clicks, and components are tight, easy to get to, and works great. Carbon fiber frame, and forks really help absorb the road. Couldn't be happier with this fine machine!
48 yr old male, not a member of the spandex mafia (serious rider). Replaces a (stolen) Trek 7.2. I can honestly say this bike is so responsive & fun that I look forward to whatever seat time I get. I'm not a serious cyclist but do enjoy it. The best thing about this bike for me is the geometry/ergonomics. I couldn't do to much riding on the Trek without my back getting sore (long time lower-back issues), so I used to commute only one-way (& drive home) and go the other way the following day, ending up with only 1 round trip per week (12 mi/ 1hr each way). The Sirrus is so comfortable in the riding position that I really don't have any issues anymore. In fact I'm riding both ways (round trip) back-to-back. I've ridden 350 miles so far and am now doing 100mi/wk, commuting 4 days/wk. As a desk jockey, it's whipping me into shape fast too. This is a fantastic bike in terms of feel, responsiveness, comfort, and sexy good looks (lots of compliments).
